Who we are
The London Ambulance Service provides medical support to those who need it. Our work is varied, with no two calls ever the same, and our service is tailored to suit the needs of every patient, whatever the injury or circumstance.
We are made up of three divisions: Ambulance Operations, the Hazardous Area Response Team and London's Air Ambulance. Everyone starts in Ambulance Operations, and staff can apply to specialist divisions or to positions within command as they progress.
Our stations
Crews work from stations across the city, each with its own vehicles and team. New starters are welcomed onto a station and supported by experienced colleagues.
